Waarom zijn de huisartsen gestopt?
Beide huisartsen hebben besloten hun werkzaamheden te beëindigen per 1 november 2025. Zij hebben dit gedaan op basis van persoonlijke keuzes en een heroriëntatie op hun loopbaan.
Wie neemt de zorg nu over?
Er zijn waarnemend huisartsen aanwezig in de praktijk. Daarnaast werkt Feanstate met huisarts in beeld. Op dagen dat er geen fysieke huisarts aanwezig is en de huisarts in beeld wil toch dat de patiënt gezien wordt dan kan de patiënt bij een collega-huisartspraktijk terecht. De doktersassistent van Feanstate zal hier zorg voor dragen en de patiënt doorgeven bij welke collega-huisartspraktijk de spoed-afspraak is. U kunt dus gewoon bij Feanstate terecht voor uw vragen en afspraken.
Kan ik mijn huisarts nog spreken?
Nee, de huisartsen zijn inmiddels gestopt. Heeft u lopende zaken of wilt u iets bespreken? Dan helpen onze huidige huisartsen u graag verder.
Hoe blijft de kwaliteit van zorg bewaakt?
Huisartsenpraktijk Feanstate is onderdeel van Dokterszorg Friesland, die toeziet op de kwaliteit en veiligheid van de zorg. Ook de zorgverzekeraar is op de hoogte van de situatie.
Wat verandert er voor mij als patiënt?
U kunt nog steeds terecht via de MedGemak-app, telefonisch of op de praktijk. We breiden het beeldbellen uit, en bij lichamelijk onderzoek plannen we uiteraard een afspraak op locatie.

Frequently Asked Questions – Departure of Our General Practitioners
Why did the GPs stop working?
Both general practitioners decided to end their work as of 1 November 2025. They made this decision based on personal choices and a reorientation of their careers.
Who is providing care now?
There are locum (substitute) GPs working in the practice. In addition, Feanstate collaborates with a remote GP service (“huisarts in beeld”). On days when no GP is physically present at the practice and the remote GP decides that a patient should be seen in person, the patient will be referred to a colleague GP practice. The Feanstate doctor’s assistant will coordinate this and inform the patient which colleague practice will handle the urgent appointment. You can therefore continue to contact Feanstate for all your questions and appointments.
Can I still speak with my former GP?
No, the GPs have now stopped working. If you have ongoing matters or would like to discuss something, our current GPs will be happy to assist you.
How is the quality of care being safeguarded?
Huisartsenpraktijk Feanstate is part of Dokterszorg Friesland, which monitors the quality and safety of care. The health insurer has also been informed of the situation.
What changes for me as a patient?
You can still contact us through the MedGemak app, by phone, or by visiting the practice. We are expanding our video consultation services, and when a physical examination is needed, an in-person appointment will of course be scheduled.
